In case you are new to TK Ventures, let me introduce you.
We are Tom, Karen and Hillary Hawkins.
In 2005 Tom and Karen (“TK”) worked together to start this ‘Venture’ in the Garage Door business. Tom has been working in the garage door industry since 1989. After many years of working for other companies we made the tough (and scary) decision to strike out on our own and we never looked back! It has been one of the best choices we have made in our collective lives.
Tom has been the driving force behind and for TK Ventures. Working his business in every facet from every single angle, Tom has a firm grasp on selling, installing and servicing garage doors and electric openers. His working knowledge of product, problem solving and the industry as we know it today is current and informed.
Hillary (our daughter) joined forces with us in 2011, as our Office Manager she is an integral team member overseeing customer service, scheduling, bookkeeping, and vendor communications. Hillary is also trained as a Field Technician and frequently assists Tom on garage door and opener installations.
I’m Karen, the supportive “other half” of TK. I have worked along side Tom since we decided to make our own way as a business entity. I too have been involved in many facets of TK Ventures over the years, from office work, bookkeeping and marketing to assisting Tom in the field.
This year we have decided we would like to expand our product line and services by adding garage organizer and storage solutions as well as motorized rolling screens for your garage door openings to expand your living space and make your garage a more ideal area for working and having fun. I will be marketing and offering design solutions for these products in the near future. We will provide more information and details as they become available.
Becoming a thriving and successful business has had its share of challenges and rewards and we are happy to say we are moving forward. With goals to grow our company, adding to a strong history of providing quality products and excellent customer service, we look toward the future; continuing to build TK Ventures to serve the community well into the next generation of homeowners.
